Dog Biscuit Appreciation Day
It is always fun to recognize these kind of days on the pet calendar. My pets love going through the drive through at the bank. Even though mine won’t eat the biscuit, they sit anxiously waiting for the biscuit to be offered by the teller!
And as always, we like to give a few guidelines before offering dog biscuits to your pet.
- Read the ingredient label.
- Check the calorie count and how many is a serving
- Don’t offer a large dog biscuit to a small or toy breed dog and wonder why they are gaining weight.
- Making your own biscuits can be a great alternative, but be aware you won’t know the calorie count and you may be making a whole batch of a product your pet won’t eat!
