International Cat Day

International Cat Day

So last week, my husband called and said he heard kitten meowing around on the barns. So I grabbed a can of wet cat food and headed to the barn. Sure enough, there was a little black kitten. After about 15 minutes of talking and waiting for her to come to the food bowl, I got my hands on her. Very thin, covered in ear mites and grease was this little black kitten. She immediately started purring and was very hungry. After much eating and drinking, it was time to get the grease off.

I tell you this story to say that this is a day that was created to again remind us that there are many many homeless cats out there. A little over a month ago, a client dropped off 10 kittens that were given to her abandoned. All those kittens now have homes.

what a difference a few days make! Happy and healthy!

Please remember to spay and neuter your cats to help reduce the number of abandoned animals!
